Designed by the legendary German designer "Frers" and built in Perth, WA, Freight Train was one of the original Maxi yachts. Freight Train has an extensive history of racing in some of the world's toughest ocean races. Most famous was its 1983 win in the Maxi Division of the Sydney to Hobart race. She went on to compete in numerous Sydney to Hobart's as well as the Kenwood Cup and the Burns Phillip Maxi Boat Series. Although officially retired from ocean racing, Freight Train is still a regular competitor in local races throughout the Whitsunday Islands.

Whitsundays is a group of islands founded by Captain Cook. There are 74 islands sprinkled across the sapphire blue of the Coral sea, most are uninhabited pristine national parks, The fauna on the islands include the majestic white bellied sea eagle and smaller osprey soaring above the cliffs and rocky shores and reefs. Whitsundays is home to logger head and green turtles which are protected.
On board you'll experience fantastic snorkelling throughout the beautiful Whitsunday's a Mecca for coral and marine life, you'll receivee fantastic meals, which are all freshly prepared by the on board hostess. You can sunbath on the world famous Whitehaven Beach, more than 7kms of pure silica sand, Gentle bush walk up to the famous "Hill Inlet" look out for that perfect picture post card setting and a chance to take in the awesome scenery that is the Whisundays or explore the aboriginal caves paintings at Nara Inlet.
